LME aluminium opened at US$2,389 per tonne last Friday, with its high and low at US$2,420 per tonne and US$2,368.5 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,417 per tonne, an increase of US$25 per tonne or 1.05 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Friday, March 31, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price slipped by US$7.5 per tonne or 0.32 per cent and 0.31 per cent to settle at US$2,336 per tonne and US$2,336.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price fell by US$11 per tonne or 0.46 per cent and US$12.5 per tonne or 0.52 per cent to stand at US$2,375 per tonne and US$2,375.50 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price dropped by US$12 per tonne or 0.46 per cent to peg at US$2,565 per tonne and US$2,570 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 520900 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants came in at 426825 tonnes and 94075 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price increased by US$11.54 per tonne or 0.48 per cent to stand at US$2,388.83 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Monday, April 3, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has declined by US$15 per tonne or 0.55 per cent to halt at US$2,712 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium closed up 0.03 per cent or RMB 5 per tonne at RMB 18,715 per tonne, with open interest up 896 lots to 219,903 lots.
At last Friday’s night session, the most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,730 per tonne, with its lowest and highest at RMB 18,645 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,785 per tonne, up RMB 50 per tonne or 0.27 per cent.
