LME aluminium opened at US$2223 per tonne in the previous trading day, with its low and high at US$2215 per tonne and US$2233 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2222 per tonne, up US$0.5 per tonne or 0.02 per cent.
On Thursday, November 23, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$12 per tonne or 0.54 per cent and US$11.5 per tonne or 0.52 per cent to close at US$2,182 per tonne and US$2,183 per tonne.
As per the London Metals Market (LME) data, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price dipped by US$16.5 per tonne or 0.73 per cent to clock at US$2,220 per tonne and US$2,221 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price fell by US$8 per tonne or 0.34 per cent to halt at US$2,342 per tonne and US$2,347 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock closed at 476300 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 201525 tonnes and 274775 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price also dropped by US$16.03 per tonne or 0.71 per cent to peg at US$2,226 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On November 24, today, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price increased by US$6 per tonne or 0.22 per cent to reach US$2,639 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE 2312 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18825 per tonne overnight, with its low and high at RMB 18750 per tonne and RMB 18825 per tonne before closing at RMB 18810 per tonne, up RMB 25 per tonne or 0.13 per cent.
