LME aluminium opened at US$2,566 per tonne in the previous trading day, with the highest point at US$2,591 per tonne, the lowest point at US$2,528.5 per tonne, and closed at US$2,544.5 per tonne, a drop of US$24.5 per tonne, or 0.95 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Thursday, June 13, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price gained US$20.5 per tonne or 0.82 per cent and US$22 per tonne or 0.88 per cent to settle at US$2,496 per tonne and US$2,498 per tonne.
As per the LME data, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also hiked by US$28 per tonne or 1.10 per cent and US$27.5 per tonne or 1.08 per cent to settle at US$2,557 per tonne and US$2,557.50 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price expanded by US$28 per tonne or 1.05 per cent to clock at US$2,680 per tonne and US$2,685 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock came in at 1085550 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled settled at 511325 tonnes and 574225 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price grew by US$15.34 per tonne or 0.60 per cent to settle at US$2,554.74 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Friday, June 14, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price dropped by US$7 per tonne or 0.24 per cent to US$2,831 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE 2407 aluminium contract opened at RMB 20,730 per tonne, with the highest point at RMB 20,735 per tonne, the lowest point at RMB 20,545 per tonne, and closed at RMB 20,600 per tonne, a drop of RMB 45 per tonne, or 0.22 per cent.
