On Wednesday, LME aluminium opened at US$2,342 per tonne, reached a high of US$2,379.5 per tonne, a low of US$2,337 per tonne, and closed at US$2,379.5 per tonne, up by US$37.5 per tonne, an increase of 1.60 per cent.
{alcircleadd}As per the LME data, both cash bid price and official settlement price gained US$31.5 per tonne to clock at US$2,353.50 per tonne and US$2,354.50 per tonne, on Wednesday, September 11.
On the same day, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price added US$21 per tonne or 0.89 per cent to settle at US$2,364 per tonne and US$2,365 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price ascended by US$20 per tonne or 0.81 per cent to settle at US$2,477 per tonne and US$2,482 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 827850 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 350225 tonnes and 477625 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price moved up by US$2.04 per tonne or 0.86 per cent to settle at US$2,359.48 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Thursday, September 12, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has surged by US$36 per tonne or 1.32 per cent to come in at US$2,753 per tonne. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2410 contract opened at RMB 19,450 per tonne, reached a high of RMB 19,495 per tonne, a low of RMB 19,385 per tonne, and closed at RMB 19,465 per tonne, up by RMB 15 per tonne, an increase of 0.08 per cent.
