LME aluminium opened at US$2,332 per tonne on Wednesday and closed at US$2,331 per tonne, down 0.04 per cent.
On Wednesday, April 26, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price increased by US$27 per tonne or 1.16 per cent and US$26.5 per tonne or 1.14 per cent to halt at US$2,339 per tonne and US$2,339.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price ascended by US$23.5 per tonne and US$24 per tonne to settle at US$2,355 per tonne and US$2,356 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price hiked by US$27 per tonne or 1.07 per cent to score at US$2,532 per tonne and US$2,537 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 571800 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 498700 tonnes and 73100 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dropped by US$24.85 per tonne or 1.04 per cent to halt at US$2,345.43 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Thursday, April 27, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price slipped by US$21 per tonne or 0.77 per cent to US$2,686 per tonne.
SHFE 2306 aluminium dipped RMB 90 per tonne or 0.48 per cent to RMB 18,710 per tonne. The open interest decreased 19,432 lots to 240,533 lots.
After opening at RMB 18,690 per tonne at yesterday’s night session, the most-traded SHFE 2306 aluminium contract rose initially to RMB 18,720 per tonne but then fell back to RMB 18,605 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,620 per tonne, down RMB 70 per tonne or 0.37 per cent.
