The previous trading day, LME aluminium opened at US$2,541.5 per tonne, reached a high of US$2,581.5 per tonne, a low of US$2,520 per tonne, and closed at US$2,569 per tonne, up US$25 per tonne, or 0.98 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Wednesday, June 12, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price inched up by US$1 per tonne or 0.04 per cent to clock at US$2,475.50 per tonne and US$2,476 per tonne.
As per the LME data, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price dipped by US$4 per tonne or 0.15 per cent to peg at US$2,529 per tonne and US$2,530 per tonne. December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price moved down by US$6 per tonne or 0.22 per cent to settle at US$2,652 per tonne and US$2,657 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 1092550 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 565600 tonnes and 526950 tonnes. LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price slipped by US$29.01 per tonne or 1.12 per cent to reach US$2,539.40 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Thursday, June 13, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price declined by US$32 per tonne or 1.11 per cent to arrive at US$2,838 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE 2407 aluminium contract opened at RMB 20,970 per tonne overnight, reaching a high of RMB 20,975 per tonne and a low of RMB 20,795 per tonne, and closed at RMB 20,855 per tonne, up RMB 55 per tonne, or 0.26 per cent.
