LME aluminium benchmark price loses US$10/t to US$2,141.5/t; SHFE price falls to US$2,519/t

LME aluminium opened at US$2,192 per tonne on Wednesday, with its low and high at US$2,163 per tonne and US$2,212 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,176.5 per tonne, a drop of US$16 per tonne or 0.73 per cent.

On Wednesday, June 28, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price slipped by US$10 per tonne or 0.46 per cent to settle at US$2,141 per tonne and US$2,141.50 per tonne.

LME aluminium 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price fell by US$8 per tonne or 0.36 per cent to close at US$2,183 per tonne and US$2,183.50 per tonne.

December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price went down by US$9 per tonne or 0.38 per cent to halt at US$2,333 per tonne and US$2,338 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock settled at 534350 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants came in at 257750 tonnes and 276600 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-month bid Asian Reference Price hiked by US$17 per tonne or 0.79 per cent to stop at US$2,192.36 per tonne.

SHFE aluminium price                                                        

On Thursday, June 29, the SHFE aluminium price has descended by US$9 per tonne or 0.35 per cent to clock at US$2,519 per tonne.

The most-traded SHFE 2308 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,065 per tonne overnight, with its low and high at RMB 17,920 per tonne and RMB 18,065 per tonne before closing at RMB 17,975 per tonne. It fell by RMB 100 per tonne or 0.55 per cent.
