On Thursday, LME aluminium opened at US$2,392 per tonne, with a high of US$2,410 per tonne, a low of US$2,363 per tonne, and closed at US$2,378 per tonne, down US$21.5 per tonne, a decrease of 0.90 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Thursday, September 5, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price inched down by US$1.5 per tonne or 0.06 per cent to clock at US$2,365.50 per tonne and US$2,366 per tonne.
As per the LME graph, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price moved down by US$5 per tonne or 0.20 per cent and US$6 per tonne or 0.25 per cent to settle at US$2,381 per tonne and US$2,382 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price slipped by US$5 per tonne to halt at US$2,493 per tonne and US$2,498 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 836925 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 345300 tonnes and 491625 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price slumped by US$27.7 per tonne or 1.15 per cent to reside at US$2,375.44 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Friday, September 6, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has slipped by US$3 per tonne or 0.11 per cent to clock at US$2,716 per tonne. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2410 contract opened at RMB 19,270 per tonne, with a high of RMB 19,385 per tonne, a low of RMB 19,250 per tonne, and closed at RMB 19,300 per tonne, up RMB 105 per tonne, an increase of 0.55 per cent.
