Yesterday, LME aluminium opened at US$2,521.5 per tonne, hit a high of US$2,569 per tonne and a low of US$2,506 per tonne, and closed at $2,540 per tonne, up $18 per tonne or 0.71 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Thursday, September 19, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price moved up by US$2.5 per tonne or 0.09 per cent and US$3 per tonne or 0.11 per cent to clock at US$2,522 per tonne and US$2,523 per tonne.
As per the LME price graph, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price added US$8.5 per tonne or 0.33 per cent and US$10 per tonne or 0.39 per cent to settle at US$2,536 per tonne and US$2,538 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price gained US$10 per tonne or 0.38 per cent to settle at US$2,630 per tonne and US$2,635 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 813000 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 349750 tonnes and 463250 tonnes.
On the same day, LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price slumped by US$61.58 per tonne or 2.46 per cent to dock at US$2,557.48 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Friday, September 20, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has ascended by US$29 per tonne or 1.03 per cent to reside at US$2,844 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE aluminium 2411 contract opened at RMB 20,105 per tonne overnight, reaching a high of 20,135 per tonne and a low of RMB 20,040 per tonne, and closed at RMB 20,080 per tonne, up RMB 120 per tonne or 0.6 per cent.
