Benchmark aluminium price on London Metal Exchange dropped 1.21 per cent to US$ 1716 per tonne on Thursday, October 1, from US$ 1737 per tonne on Wednesday.

As of Thursday October 1, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1716 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1716 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1754 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1754 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1826 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1826 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1450950 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1196825 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 254125 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1762.52 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
China market and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) will remain closed for the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays from October 1 to October 8, 2020.
