LME aluminium opened at US$2,459 per tonne on Monday and closed at US$2,408 per tonne, down US$51 per tonne or 2.07 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Monday, July 25, LME aluminium cash bid price stood at US$2,431 per tonne, and LME aluminium official settlement price closed at US$2,431.50 per tonne. Both the prices experienced a decline of US$28 per tonne or 1.13 per cent and US$28.5 per tonne or 1.15 per cent.
On the same day, the 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also dropped by US$26 per tonne or 1.05 per cent and US$25.5 per tonne or 1.03 per cent to rest at US$2,431 per tonne and US$2,432 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price climbed down the graph by US$25 per tonne or 1 per cent to halt at US$2,470 per tonne and US$2,475 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock closed at 308050 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day came in at 148800 tonnes and 159250 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price inched down by US$0.8 per tonne or 0.03 per cent to halt at US$2443.50 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
As of today, on July 26, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price declined by US$23 per tonne or 0.86 per cent to peg at US$2,642 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2208 aluminium closed down 0.64 per cent or RMB 115 per tonne to RMB 17,810 per tonne, with open interest down 11,303 lots to 93,348 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2209 aluminium contract opened at RMB 17,775 per tonne overnight and rose to RMB 17,840 per tonne before closing at RMB 17,755 per tonne, down RMB 20 per tonne or 0.11 per cent.
