Benchmark aluminium price on London Metal Exchange declined by 2.64 per cent to come in at US$ 2008 per tonne on Thursday, 7 January 2021, from US$ 2062.5 per tonne on 6 January 2021.

The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1313100 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1186250 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 126850 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2041.76 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to US$ 2429 per tonne on Friday, 8 January 2021.
SHFE aluminium shed 0.49% on Thursday, 07 January 2021. Shanghai base metals mostly advanced in overnight trading, rising aluminium price by 1.18%.
