On Monday, LME aluminium opened at US$2,344.5 per tonne, reached a high of US$2,365 per tonne and a low of US$2,326.5 per tonne before closing at US$2,362.5 per tonne, up US$21 per tonne, a 0.90 per cent increase.
{alcircleadd}The LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dwindled by US$50.5 per tonne or 2.13 per cent and US$50 per tonne or 2.11 per cent to settle at US$2,317 per tonne and US$2,318 per tonne.
As per the LME price graph, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price contracted by US$55 per tonne or 2.30 per cent to dock at US$2,333 per tonne and US$2,333.50 per tonne.
December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price declined by US$49 per tonne to peg at US$2,448 per tonne and US$2,453 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 834850 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at US$350225 tonnes and 484625 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price slumped by US$40.45 per tonne or 1.69 per cent to halt at US$2,344.26 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Tuesday, September 10, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has descended by US$22 per tonne or 0.81 per cent to settle at US$2,690 per tonne. Last night, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2410 contract opened at RMB 19,190 per tonne, hitting a high of RMB 19,325 per tonne and a low of RMB 19,155 per tonne before closing at RMB 19,320 per tonne, up RMB 105 per tonne, a 0.55 per cent increase.
