LME aluminium opened at US$2,433 per tonne on Wednesday and closed at US$2,390 per tonne, down US$46 per tonne or 1.89 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Wednesday, November 23, LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$30.5 per tonne or 1.27 per cent and US$30 per tonne or 1.25 per cent to settle at US$2,363 per tonne and US$2,364 per tonne.
As per the LME data, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price witnessed a slump of US$28 per tonne or 1.15 per cent to halt at US$2,389 per tonne and US$2,391 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price descended by US$33 per tonne or 1.32 per cent to stand at US$2,455 per tonne and US$2,460 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 513275 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants clocked at 284525 tonnes and 228750 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference price surged by US$48 per tonne or 2.02 per cent to score at US$2,421.50 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on November 23, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price has gone up by US$23 per tonne to halt at US$2,668 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium closed down 0.18 per cent or RMB 35 per tonne at RMB 18,895 per tonne, with open interest down 13,249 lots to 139,811 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,820 per tonne overnight and rose to RMB 18,990 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,925 per tonne, down RMB 25 per tonne or 0.13 per cent.
