LME aluminium opened at US$2,230 per tonne on Wednesday, with its low and high at US$2,230.5 per tonne and US$2,262.5 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,254 per tonne, a rise of US$22 per tonne or 0.99 per cent.
On Wednesday, June 14, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price grew by US$6 per tonne or 0.27 per cent and US$6.5 per tonne or 0.29 per cent to halt at US$2,199 per tonne and US$2,200 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price hiked by US$7.5 per tonne or 0.33 per cent and US$7 per tonne or 0.31 per cent to score at US$2,242.50 per tonne and US$2,243 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price showed no change to rest at US$2,388 per tonne and US$2,393 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 572775 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants closed at 309900 tonnes and 262875 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price expanded by US$13.59 per tonne or 0.60 per cent to clock at US$2,248.61 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On June 15, today, SHFE aluminium price decreased by US$9 per tonne or 0.34 per cent, to close at US$2,581 per tonne.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2307 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,530, rose to RMB 18,610 per tonne, and finally closed at RMB 18,505 per tonne, with its low of RMB 18,490 per tonne, down RMB 32 per tonne or 0.17 per cent.
