LME aluminium opened at US$2,249.5 per tonne on Thursday, with its high and low at US$2,271.5 per tonne and US$2,217.5 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,260.5 per tonne, an increase of US$10.5 per tonne or 0.47 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Thursday, November 3, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price went down by US$11 per tonne or 0.49 per cent to stop at US$2,215.50 per tonne and US$2,216 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price inched up by US$2.5 per tonne or 0.11 per cent and US$3.5 per tonne or 0.15 per cent to record at US$2,240 per tonne and US$2,242 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price climbed up by US$3 per tonne or 0.12 per cent to settle at US$2,318 per tonne and US$2,323 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 577875 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants clocked at 329175 tonnes and 248700 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dipped by US$2.44 per tonne or 0.10 per cent to stop at US$2,249.50 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Friday, November 4, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price expanded by US$22 per tonne or 0.88 per cent to record at US$2,507 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium closed up 1.23 per cent or RMB 220 per tonne at RMB 18,085 per tonne, with open interest down 7,321 lots to 166,710 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,005 per tonne overnight, with its low and high at RMB 18,000 per tonne and RMB 18,150 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,100 per tonne, up RMB 15 per tonne or 0.08 per cent.
