LME aluminium opened at US$2,406 per tonne on Monday and closed at US$2,380 per tonne, a drop of US$35 per tonne or 1.45 per cent.
On Monday, November 21, LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price slumped by US$26 per tonne or 1.09 per cent and US$25 per tonne or 1.05 per cent to close at US$2,342 per tonne and US$2,344 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slipped by US$33.5 per tonne or 1.39 per cent and US$32 per tonne or 1.33 per cent to close at US$2,366 per tonne and US$2,368 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price dropped by US$38 per tonne to rest at US$2,435 per tonne and US$2,440 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock closed at 522000 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants clocked at 296150 tonnes and 225850 tonnes.
LME aluminium3-month Asian Reference Price went down by US$2.93 per tonne or 0.12 per cent to peg at US$2,397.90 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on November 22, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price has increased by US$7 per tonne or 0.26 per cent, to come in at US$2,652 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium closed down 0.66 per cent or RMB 125 per tonne at RMB 18,945 per tonne, with open interest down 19,231 lots to 163,745 lots.

The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,900 per tonne overnight and rose to RMB 18,990 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,870 per tonne, down RMB 130 per tonne or 0.68 per cent.
