On June 13, Tuesday, the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official settlement price closed at US$2,193 per tonne and US$2,193.50 per tonne, decreasing by US$27.50 per tonne or 1.24 per cent each, if compared with the aluminium price chart of Friday, June 9. It jumped by US$5.50 per tonne or 0.25 per cent if tallied with June 12, Monday, when the aluminium spot price was US$2,188 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}On Tuesday, the 3-month offer price increased by US$2 per tonne or 0.09 per cent from Monday’s US$2,234 per tonne, down US$30 per tonne or 1.32 per cent if compared with last Friday.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price plunged by US$27 per tonne or 1.11 per cent from Friday last week to halt at US$2,388 per tonne and US$2,393 per tonne each. On June 12, the December 24 offer price was US$2,392 per tonne, which has gained US$1 per tonne or 0.04 per cent if compared with Tuesday.
LME aluminium opening stock slumped by 0.51 per cent or 2,975 tonnes, officially closing at 575,325 tonnes from 578,300 tonnes recorded on Friday, June 9.
Live warrants read 310,425 tonnes, with a huge fall of 10,575 tonnes or 3.29 per cent from last week’s closing price. Cancelled warrants halted at 264,900 tonnes with 7,600 tonnes or 2.95 per cent augmentation.
The 3-month Asian Reference Price closed at US$2,235.02 per tonne on June 13, with a dip of US$32.45 per tonne or 1.43 per cent from last Friday.
SHFE aluminium price
On June 14, today, SHFE aluminium spot price descended by US$17 per tonne or 0.65 per cent, officially closing at US$2,590 per tonne.
SHFE 2307 aluminium added RMB 595 per tonne or 3.38 per cent to RMB 18,185 per tonne. The open interest fell from 11,785 lots to 256,640 lots.
