LX Hausys signs MoU with Reynaers Aluminium to boost Korea's aluminium window market

Korean construction materials provider LX Hausys declared an active partnership with Reynaers Aluminium. The former would help the latter amplify its pace in penetrating the domestic aluminium window market.

Reynaers Aluminium hailing from Belgium, is a state-of-the-art manufacturer of aluminium solutions. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at LX Hausys' headquarters in Seoul on March 29, Wednesday. LX Hausys has confirmed that both parties will share their operational expertise for process development and exceptional manufacturing abilities to produce high-end aluminium window modules.

LX Hausys has announced the release of jointly perceived window designs near the year's second financial half. Reynaers Aluminium will partner to include highly insulated aluminium windows and modernised versions such as ultraslim in the company's profile. The brands have proposed developing aluminium windows that endure uneven weather conditions like heavy rainfall or storm.

"We expect the partnership between Reynaers Aluminium, who have the best technology in the aluminium window-related field, and LX Hausys, the No. 1 window manufacturing company in Korea, to not only achieve a great synergy but also help gain momentum in successfully targeting the market," said LX Hausys President Han Myeung-ho during the signing ceremony for the memorandum.

"In the future, we expect the two companies to increase their market share in the Korean market with perfect partnership and achieve good results from a long-term perspective," said Andreas Wilsdorf, vice president of Reynaers Aluminium.

As per the reports presented by LX Hausys, this collaboration results from an ever-increasing demand for aluminium windows in Korea's luxury resort and hospitality sector. Aluminium windows are cost-effective, lightweight and customisable according to the specification of a new or old remodelled building.
