Monseigneur Augustin Caron Elementary School will organise an e-waste & aluminium can recycling event. The event will be held on April 15 and April 22, during which the students will be taught the importance of recycling aluminium cans and electronic waste.
{alcircleadd}The students have been asked to bring used, outdated and unwanted electronics to help generate money for their school while preventing electronic waste from going to the landfill. Not only this, but the school is also inviting residents of Windsor and Essex County to donate their used, outdated, damaged and unwanted devices and aluminium beverage cans.
Items like computers, laptops, VCRs, DVD players, printers, fax machines, mobile phones, radios, TVs, microwaves, toasters, curling irons, hair dryers, and electric toothbrushes can be donated by locals. On the other hand, things like glass, blender cups, coffee glass, bulbs in lamps, stoves, fridges, air conditioners, etc will not be accepted.
