Norweld (1300-302-899), an Australian firm that specialises in heavy-duty aluminium trays and canopies for utes and 4-wheel-drive vehicles, has opened a new workshop in Perth, Western Australia. The new facility in Perth provides Western Australian ute drivers with the full range of Norweld aluminium trays and canopies for a variety of vehicle makes and models. Dion Katemis, WA Manager is in charge of the showroom and fit-out facilities.
{alcircleadd}Norweld now sells aluminium trays for single, double, and extra cabbed utes from their new facility. Each tray may be paired with one of nine canopy packages, which can be either detachable or permanently installed.
Ute owners add trays to the back of their cars to safely transport freight and canopies to protect against the weather. The tray and canopy combination's kind and layout are chosen to best suit the load and may be installed in new cars or converted to pre-own utes. Trays may be built of a variety of materials, including steel and alloys, but Norweld's heavy-duty aluminium offers corrosion resistance and is lightweight, allowing the vehicle's payload capacity and fuel economy to be maximised.
Years of testing and research and development have gone into Norweld trays. They are, for example, fastened to mounts, which are then bolted to the vehicle. If the tray is fastened directly to the vehicle, this arrangement minimises cracks due to bending. Additional rear racks, tent bars, cooking facilities, and clip-on tables are available as options.
The trays and canopies are built on-site, so clients just need to bring their car to the factory for installation, which takes around a day. If the customer is acquiring a new vehicle, Norweld can have the vehicle redirected to one of its workshops and the product installed before final delivery.
Norweld has been producing aluminium trays and canopies for over fifty years and has built and installed hundreds of them. Their products are appropriate for usage in a variety of conditions due to their high-quality manufacture and endurance.
“We are delighted to announce our new workshop in Perth, making our tough, high quality, Australian-built aluminium trays and canopies available to Western Australian ute owners,” said a spokesperson.
