Already available in Philipines, the upgraded version will be available in a more powerful 6GB/128GB edition, apart from the 4GB/64GB (PHP 4,999 SRP) and 4GB/128GB (PHP 5,999 SRP) variants. This upgrade provides larger RAM, enabling faster app loading and improved multitasking.
Aluminium die-cast structure
Apart from this, the other features like durable die-cast aluminium structure, reinforced glass-coated protection film, shock-absorbing circuit board, component dispensing glue, screen protection bezel, etc will remain unchanged.
As per reports, aluminium, a versatile and lightweight metal, plays a significant role in manufacturing smartphones, accounting for approximately 14.17 per cent of the materials used. Additionally, the realme Note 60 now boasts an upgraded IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, an improvement over the previous IP54. This upgrade ensures complete protection against dust ingress and safeguards the device from water sprays from any direction.
Other features
The smartphone features a 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is powered by a 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor and a 5,000mAh battery that supports USB-C 10W charging. With 1,000 charging cycles, realme claims the device retains 80% of its battery capacity even after extensive use.
The Note 60 sports a 32MP f/1.8 main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for photography. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
The global smartphone user base has steadily grown, rising from 3.73 billion in 2020 to 4.74 billion in 2022. This surge is largely driven by the increasing availability of affordable smartphones and enhanced internet connectivity worldwide. However, 2023 saw a slight decline, with the number dropping to 4.64 billion. This dip could be attributed to market saturation in certain regions or economic challenges affecting consumer purchasing power, highlighting the need for ongoing market analysis.
Amidst this evolving landscape, Realme has remained a disruptive force in the industry with a series of innovative smartphone launches. The brand has consistently pushed boundaries from the Realme 12 Series Pro to the Realme NARZO and P Series. The Realme NARZO N63, in particular, elevates user experience with features like Riding Mode, AI Noise Reduction Call, Mini Capsule 2.0 for instant notifications, Air Gestures, a Dynamic Button, and UltraBoom speakers.
