Dash Rehab, a mobility equipment provider, has released the Robooter E40, the company's second smart-powered wheelchair. The E40 is a 4mph manual-fold powered aluminium wheelchair that can be operated with a smartphone and has built-in functions.
{alcircleadd}These features include the option to alter the voice on the chair to that of a family member, as well as power settings. A 'fault detect' function indicates whether the chair has a problem, and the end-user may get valuable information through an app.
The E40 is available in black, grey, and turquoise and features a 20-amp lithium battery with a range of 16 miles. The entire lifting weight of the E40, without batteries, is 21kg, with a maximum user weight of 150kg, making it easily transportable.
The E40 motorised wheelchair has a sleek and elegant appearance and has rear pneumatic tyres and honeycomb PU front castors. Lighting in the front and back of the chair, an ergonomically built backrest and seat, and luxurious leather armrests simplify navigation.
Dash Rehab, which sells the Robooter powerchairs only in the UK and Ireland, unveiled its X40 electric-fold variant at Naidex 2023 earlier this year, a hybrid between a mobility scooter and a powered wheelchair with a maximum user weight of 120kg.
