The leading manufacturer in Romania for PVC joinery under the QFort brand Casa Noastra is building a new factory to include aluminium products in its offering. It has also publicised that in 2023 it would open a showroom in London, UK.
Ştefan Cherciu, the company owner, stated, "The demand is very high in the UK, and the margin is the highest in Europe. In addition, due to the exit from the European Union, it is now much more difficult to reach Great Britain with goods, as quite expensive certifications are needed, so not everyone can do it anymore."
The company made a 20-million-euro investment in an aluminium joinery manufacturing facility, for which it was given a 9-million-euro state grant.
The step occurred after the Romanian joinery leader, Casa Noastra, attained record revenues of EUR 170 million in 2022, a substantial 40 per cent growth from 2021. Exports accounted for 80 per cent of total sales. In addition, the company reported a profit of EUR 30 million.
