Ross Aluminum, a Sidney-based provider of high-quality aluminium casting to various sectors, including transportation, trucking, power generation, aerospace, etc., will invest $5.4 million and plan to add 175 employees. Assets from USAC Ross, including real estate, machinery, and property, were bought by P&THE Manufacturing, LLC.
“As far as being able to produce high quality, complex castings on the floor, you’ll find something very special,” said Pancho Hall, CEO & chairperson of P&THE Manufacturing, and Ross Aluminum head.
P&THE Manufacturing is an MBE holding company that offers high-performing manufacturing solutions through business acquisitions and joint ventures. Ross Aluminum announced in January this year the permanent closure of its casting division at 402 Kuther Road in Sidney and the elimination of more than 100 jobs. As per the reports, the closure was expected to cause the permanent layoff of about 107 employees.
“The expectation is that we do most of our hiring from within this 40 miles radius to where we are,. There is a commitment from the state to grow Manufacturing in rural territory. Feel very fortunate to be at this point being embraced by it, and feel obligated to make sure that we do our part,” added Pancho Hall.
“We are happy to keep Ross Aluminum operational in Sidney under new ownership and management and excited to launch plans to grow the employee count over 300% with support from the state, county, and city,” said Pancho Hall, CEO and Chairman of P&THE.
