One of the biggest aluminium distributors in the Midwest, Howard Precision Metals, Inc., has been acquired by Ryerson Holding Corporation, a leading value-added processor and distributor of industrial metals. Howard, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, specialises in value-added processing services, such as the distribution of saw-cut extruded aluminium bars and high-quality, precision-cut aluminium plates.
"Building on our legacy of over 90 years in the industry, Howard is excited for this opportunity to grow our brand and business with a company that shares our values and commitment to customers. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent service to our customers as a member of the Ryerson Family of Companies,” said Mark Howard, President of Howard.
Ryerson is a well-known value-added industrial metals processor and distributor with facilities in the US, Canada, Mexico, and China. Ryerson, established in 1842, has over 4,000 workers across about 100 locations.
"Howard has cultivated a strong brand and a reputation for creating excellent customer experiences. Its processing capabilities complement Ryerson's existing non-ferrous franchise, and we are excited to recognize these synergies as we welcome them to the Ryerson Family of Companies,” said Mike Burbach, Ryerson's Chief Operating Officer.
