Saint James Iced Tea, the fastest-growing iced tea brand in the US, announced a major packaging shift at the beginning of this month. The brand introduced 100 per cent recyclable aluminium bottles, replacing its previous tetra packaging. This milestone highlights Saint James’ commitment to sustainable production, while continuing to offer the premium organic iced tea that defines its leadership in the category.

Aluminium bottles mark a significant step in Saint James’s end-to-end sustainability journey. Paired with ethically farmed ingredients from certified organic and fair trade sources, the shift reduces energy use and embraces infinitely recyclable materials, helping to cut down landfill waste. The relaunch also introduces a refreshed label design, showcasing vibrant gradients and updated fruity illustrations that reflect the brand’s flavour-forward identity.
Beyond recyclability, the new bottle design features a twist-off cap and resealable structure, allowing consumers to enjoy the beverage in multiple sittings. The slim, modern profile is designed for easy storage and a better grip, catering to both at-home use and on-the-go lifestyles.
Brad Neumann, Co-Founder and CEO of Saint James, stated: “After experiencing such remarkable growth in the past few years, Saint James is thrilled to take this significant step forward in our brand journey, We wanted to remain portable and resealable, but saw an opportunity to provide a more refreshing experience to our customers–by keeping our products colder and flavors fresher, for longer. Ultimately, the switch to aluminium felt like a natural evolution of our commitment to delivering Iced Tea As It Should Be—good for both our customers and our planet.”
Saint James will debut its new aluminium bottles at the Stagecoach Festival (April 25–27), available at the Saint James Saloon and all concession stands. The launch kicks off a summer Mobile Truck Tour across major cities. Coinciding with this rollout, Ed Thomas, former VP at Spindrift, joins as Vice President of National Accounts to lead sales and distribution across the U.S. and Canada.
Saint James' new aluminium bottles will launch on Amazon this Earth Day, April 22, and roll out to major retailers including Albertsons, Safeway, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, King Soopers, Hannaford and The Fresh Market, later this month. Nationwide availability at Target is expected by September. The updated packaging will feature top flavours like Passion Fruit & Peach, Red Raspberry, Classic Lemon, Pineapple & Mango and Blood Orange & Hibiscus.
The relaunch marks a new phase for the iced tea brand, combining product integrity with packaging innovation. With aluminium now part of its core identity, Saint James reinforces its commitment to environmental responsibility and quality-driven consumer experiences.
