Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, an Ontario based family-owned integrated metal manufacturing, processing and distribution company; announced the acquisition of Sierra Aluminum, a leader in the aluminium extrusion industry based at Riverside, California. Sierra supplies aluminium extrusions and related products and services to the end-user markets like construction and transportation sector. The acquisition is an important strategic step that moves Samuel's Manufacturing Division into a new and growing market segment.

Sierra Aluminum Group is now led by President Sachin Shivaram, who succeeded the retiring president Mr Ed Harris. Mr. Shivaram joined Samuel Group in 2016, as President, Pressure Vessel Group and added accountability for Samuel's Service Center in the Great Lakes Region.
