The leading industrial furnace and oven manufacturer, SINC Thermal, announced that it had signed an exclusive license agreement with Japan's Nippon Crucible Co. to manufacture their Shaft-Melter range of furnaces in the US market.
{alcircleadd}Masato Masuda, the Executive Officer and General Manager of International Corporate Marketing and Sales at Nippon Crucible Company, stated, "We spent a long time vetting the right Partners for the USA market. We believe we found a good fit with the SINC Thermal Team and look forward to working together to bring the Freedom® Melting Technology to the USA."
However, this agreement returns the popular Jet-Melter® and Micro-Jet-Melter® to the US market with proven performance for nearly 40 years. It also introduces the Freedom® and Hybrid-Freedom® Melting Furnaces, which have been installed in over 120 Asian markets since 2015. In the United States, both furnace lines will now be offered by SINC Thermal exclusively.
The President of SINC Thermal, Joe Slattery, said, "The Jet-Melter® has a proven history in the USA, and we've seen Freedom® Melting Furnaces in-person operating in Japan. The technology works, and the non-oxidizing chamber is a real game changer for the domestic foundry industry. The furnaces we saw in Japan hadn't been cleaned in up to 18 months, and the linings looked to be in like-new condition."
These furnaces constitute a significant expansion to SINC Thermal's current product lineup, which already encompasses larger central melt and crucible furnaces.
According to SINC Thermal, the company is looking forward to re-acquainting previous and existing users of the Jet-Melter® with these popular furnaces in the USA and to introducing them to the Freedom® Melting Furnaces, all of which will be manufactured in Missouri, USA.
Martin Reeves, the Consultant to SINC Thermal and the owner of Fontec-Global LLC, said, "I have been involved with the aluminium casting industry for over 30 years and with Shaft-Melting furnaces for over 20 of these on five continents and was initially sceptical of the new technology. However, having seen these furnaces in production, it is obvious that Nippon has found a technology and design that can benefit American foundries significantly. I look forward to being part of this development."
