Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc., an American gun-maker from Springfield, Massachusetts, has launched its first full-size M&P pistol version that features fully metal characteristics. The latest M&P9 M2.0 Metal boasts a full T6 Aluminium framework.
{alcircleadd}Aluminium, for its lightweight and malleable properties, is favoured over other materials in making artilleries and warfare items. It has a complete return to the core economy as aluminium scrap, once melted, retains the original properties of the non-ferrous metal.
The corrosion-resistant T6 Aluminium alloy constitutes the pistol’s body with a protruding 4.25-inch barrel and an M2.0 flat face trigger. The pistol can withhold two 17-round magazines and is slide cut for optics.
The M&P9 M2.0 Metal displays a Tungsten Gray Cerakote appearance that differentiates the pistol from its contemporaries. The M&P9 M2.0 METAL is compatible with any M&P9 holster and has a calibre suiting 9mm luger bullets.
The handgun product manager, Andrew Gore, simplified the entire scenario by saying: “Combining the proven performance of the M&P pistol series with the 170-year history of reliable Smith & Wesson metal handguns, the M&P9 M2.0 METAL forges the quality of our past with enhanced modern-day features in an offering that will give an edge to both new and experienced firearms enthusiasts.”
Smith & Wesson is respected worldwide for its commitment to durability and an enhanced performance quota. With the current addition to its M&P family, the company wishes to attract gun enthusiasts from all over the country.
