SnackRight plans to incorporate aluminium foil packaging into its arrangement

EDITED BY : 2MINS READ

Singapore-based healthy snack brand SnackRight attempts to weather larger economic uncertainty by concentrating on product innovation and shelf-life extension to expand its sales channels. The company plans to include packaging materials like aluminium foils in their arrangements to expand its presence in the mass market.

"The current shelf life of our products is about six months. We are looking to improve that - such as adding nitrogen and aluminium foil into the packaging - so that we can have them in more retail outlets like FairPrice Finest and Cold Storage. This is our goal for 2023," said the firm.

SnackRight plans to incorporate aluminium foil packaging into its arrangement

Aluminium is one of the most sustainable and recyclable metals on the planet. As a result, it is strongly recommended for usage in various end-use sectors like packaging, transportation, construction and electrical engineering. Many companies are planning to adopt aluminium packaging due to its environment-friendly attributes.

Furthermore, according to the European Aluminium Foil Association, using foil in consumer product packaging reduces spoilage and overconsumption, lessening the product's overall environmental impact. To expand the presence of SnackRight in the mass market, the firm is collaborating with numerous stores in Singapore. Its items are now accessible on the company's website and local e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada.

Sustainability in the global aluminium industry

“At the same time, we want to ensure that our products are always fresh and that they are moving off the shelves. Thus, we will make adjustments based on the demand,”said Jit Yen Chan, co-founder of SnackRight.
