SurTec, a company that is an expert in chemical surface finishing solutions, has recently acquired Aluservice, an Italy-based company that focuses on research and development, as well as the distribution of chemical specialities for surface treatment of alloys made of aluminium, zinc, steel, and iron.
Aluservice's product range includes a variety of products for aluminium anodization, aluminium coating processes, electroplating of ferrous metals, and coating of other metals. This acquisition is expected to enhance SurTec's capabilities in the field of chemical surface finishing solutions and provide customers with a wider range of high-quality products.
The managing director of Aluservice, Dr Raffaele Cadorna, implied: "After 40 years of successful business, we realized that we needed financial resources available only to large multinational groups in order to ensure continuity and further development. We are glad to become part of the SurTec Group and look forward with enthusiasm to the new challenges ahead of us."
Aluservice has a presence in the Italian architecture market, but SurTec will offer Aluservice products worldwide via the SurTec sales network, further internationalizing the business.
The CFO of SurTec Group, Dr. Fulvio Lamberti, remarked: "The acquisition of Aluservice is a further step forward in our strategy for the Italian metal surface treatment market."
"We are happy to join forces with a player of high reputation in the market and thereby further improving the value delivered to our respective customers," Lamberti added.
For 40 years, Aluservice has been relentlessly developing its own formulations for chemicals, processes, and technologies. The company's products are designed to meet the highest quality standards demanded by the market while ensuring economic efficiency.
Aluservice is proud to share SurTec's philosophy of balancing business processes with the needs and requirements of society and the environment. With SurTec's worldwide distribution network and technical expertise, global customers can expect nothing but the best.
