Tata Motors has inked an agreement with Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) for the supply of 300 electric cars with three years of warranty. The total cost of the agreement is expected to be around INR 44 crore.

{alcircleadd}CESL is a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). The project will consist of 300 four-wheeler electric cars whose length is less than 4 meters)and range equal to or more than 250 KMs.

The tender will be implemented in two stages. In the first one, 300 cars will be delivered at a base price of INR 14,33,000 per unit, exclusive of GST. The second stage will cover inland transportation, including loading, unloading, transfer to a designated location, transit insurance, and other costs incidental to the delivery of vehicles.
