Terra Goyana Mineradora (TGM), one of Brazil's largest producers of bauxite, has joined Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) as its new Production and Transformation member. TGM engages in bauxite mining, processing, selling, and mineral research and development. It contributes 5.5 per cent of the country's total bauxite output, making it one of the biggest producers in Brazil.

The corporation maintains business ties in South America, Europe, and Asia thanks to activities at the mine in Barro Alto, Goiás, and administrative offices in Goiânia. It is in charge of 200 direct jobs in the Barro Alto municipality.
TGM invests in projects that support regional growth and is recognised by national and international standards relating to health, safety, environmental management, and social responsibility, in addition to being a significant tax generator and a great advocate for other enterprises.
