Recently, the Australia Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC), which is under the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, concluded the investigation into the alleged dumping of aluminium extrusions exported to Australia from Malaysia.
Malaysia witnessed a noticeable surge in exports of aluminium extrusions in 2016. In the first three quarters of 2016 only, Malaysia exported 115 thousand tonnes of extruded aluminium to Vietnam.
