Top five automotive aluminium die-casting parts manufacturers in India

India’s automotive component manufacturing sector is on a growth trajectory.  Driven by the increased urbanization, evolving automotive industry demand (as it is readying for the Electric Vehicles revolution), and changing fuel economy standards, the sector is growing at a pace never seen before. Foreign investments from countries like China and the US are flowing in, and there is a fair amount of optimism in the country’s economic environment that is created by the government pet projects like Make in India, 100 Smart Cities etc. Automotive aluminium die-casting part manufacturing is a sub-sector, which seems to be having a lot of growth potential.

Keeping in view the overall buoyancy in the market, AlCircle has come up with a list of top five automotive aluminium die-casting parts manufacturers in India:

1. Endurance Technologies

Endurance Technologies started growing as an aluminium die casting parts manufacturer after the merger of Anurang Engineering Company, the original die caster since 1986, in 2006. It has expertise in Gravity die casting, Low pressure die casting, and High pressure die casting processes, and supplies aluminium die casting components to the renowned automobile OEMs globally.

3. Auto Diecasting Company

With a manufacturing history of more than three decades, this Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu based company stands as one of the most reputed providers of complete diecasting solutions in India. Its key product offerings include aluminium diecasting DC motor body, aluminium die cast automotive parts, and aluminium die casting aerospace components among a host of other die cast machinery parts. Auto Diecasting has 13 diecasting machines of capacity ranging from 60 tonnes to 660 tonnes locking force in a built up area of about 60000 sq. feet and an Optical emission spectrometer to analyse the chemical composition of every melt in production. It can handle various aluminium alloys namely ADC-12, LM-2, LM-6, LM-24, and LM-30.

4. Esko Die Casting Pvt Ltd.

5. Rane Group

This renowned Indian auto component part manufacturer with a strong aluminium die-casting product base recently came to limelight for its two-pronged strategy devised to cope with the forthcoming electric vehicles challenges. The company is readying to enter the era of disruption that EVs are about to usher in globally. It is focusing on enriching its knowledge base and is forging quality tie-ups with global technology companies in a bid to learn more about the latest EV technologies. One business segment of Range Group that stands a good change to prosper from this massive technology change is Rane Diecast. The producer of high pressure aluminium die castings for automotive applications such as steering and HVAC, Rane Diecast is going to witness increased business in the near future.

There are many more promising automotive component manufacturers in India who are devising strategies to stand out in the competition, domestically as well as in the international market. Mahindra Group, for example, has started a secret experiment in an undisclosed village in India, whereby it expects to change the future of auto component manufacturing and servicing in the country. The company is using 3D printing technology to develop a model wherein components can be made in rural India at the scale of a cottage industry, reported The Hindu BusinessLine. Although it is still not known if their experiment includes automotive aluminium additive component manufacturing, we certainly look forward to learning more about it and sharing with you the same.
