The United Arab Emirates exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 20,500 tonnes in January 2021, a decrease of 33.87% or 10,500 tonnes year-on-year. The UAE had exported 31,000 tonnes to the US in January 2021, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a monthly basis, crude metal and alloys imports increased by 25.72% from December’s imports of 27,600 tonnes.
Compared with November, the UAE’s exports of crude metal and alloys to the US stood 39.53% lower from 33,900 tonnes. The United Arab Emirates exported 335,000 tonnes of crude metal and alloys in 2020.
The United Arab Emirates exported 20,900 tonnes of crude metal and alloys in January 2021, from 31,000 tonnes exported in January 2020. That was down 32.58% or 10,100 tonnes year-on-year. On a month-on-month basis, the exports rose 24.55% or 6,800 tonnes from 27,700 tonnes.
