The United Arab Emirates exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 36,700 tonnes in June 2021, an increase of 485.33% year-on-year. The UAE had exported 6,270 tonnes to the US in June 2020, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a monthly basis, crude metal and alloys exports increased by 11.89% from May’s exports of 32,800 tonnes.
In the first half of 2021, the crude metals and alloys export to the US came in at 178,000 tonnes, from 177,000 tonnes in the first half of 2020. That was a slight increase of 0.56% year-on-year.
The United Arab Emirates exported 37,100 tonnes of crude metal and alloys in June 2021. That was up by 488.89% from June 2020’s export of 6,300 tonnes and 12.77% from May 2021’s export of 32,900 tonnes. In January-June 2021, total exports were 179,000 tonnes, from 178,000 tonnes in January-June 2020.
