The United Arab Emirates exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 36,700 tonnes in June 2021, an increase of 485.33% year-on-year. The UAE had exported 6,270 tonnes to the US in June 2020, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a monthly basis, crude metal and alloys exports increased by 11.89% from May’s exports of 32,800 tonnes.
{alcircleadd}In the first half of 2021, the crude metals and alloys export to the US came in at 178,000 tonnes, from 177,000 tonnes in the first half of 2020. That was a slight increase of 0.56% year-on-year.
The United Arab Emirates exported 37,100 tonnes of crude metal and alloys in June 2021. That was up by 488.89% from June 2020’s export of 6,300 tonnes and 12.77% from May 2021’s export of 32,900 tonnes. In January-June 2021, total exports were 179,000 tonnes, from 178,000 tonnes in January-June 2020.
