SunKiss, an indigenous UAE brand with an ideology of sustainability at its core, has forged a partnership with SuperYacht Eco, a European logistical head that supplies massive shipments of cleaning and personal hygiene concoctions to an international herd of yachts.
{alcircleadd}SunKiss has been time and again hailed for creating extraordinary sun care products, and now it wishes to borrow SuperYacht Eco's experience of trade voyages in the logistical aspect so that it might expand its growth to the European and Caribbean travel-cosmetics sector.
SunKiss will supply its entire range of sunscreen and after-sun care products to a vast network of yachting clients through SuperYacht Eco's ocean-friendly, mineral-based refill systems. SuperYacht Eco prioritises reducing single-use plastics in cleaning, laundry, and personal care for guests and crew members.
The most significant affair behind all of SunKiss' charisma is the company's use of 100% recyclable aluminium. In 2020, the firm formulated a range of products specifically designated for the yachting industry with the main aim of promoting sustainability and reducing one-time-use plastic waste. The aluminium bottles were customisable as the company offered full liberty to the customer so that the shape of the bottle could be unique to their own purpose.
This was the very first time that the company displayed its "refill and reuse" ideology, and since then, it has been a complete hit. Not only does it save the world from humungous plastic waste, but it also creates a circular economy along the yachts' sea route.
SunKiss has created Eco Refill, a line of bathroom products for yacht owners that come in professional sizes and use 95% less packaging than standard products. They have also introduced a collection of eco-friendly turn-down gifts that include after-sun gel, moisturiser, lip balm, and hand care nourishment, perfect for rejuvenating after a day on the yacht.
The managing director of SunKiss, Joanna Barclay, narrated: "Our goal has always been to provide a product that eliminates single-use plastic waste and creates a safer marine environment. As such, we are the only company in the world that can facilitate bulk orders of sunscreen and after-sun, which are then used to refill our sustainable aluminium bottles used by both guests and crew onboard."
The head of sales for SuperYacht Eco and founder of Viveco Yachts, Hannah Russell, exclaimed: "After years of research and trying to find a sunscreen that meets the high standards required from product to production and packaging, we were very excited to find SunKiss and learn about this new innovative company."
