In November, Bahrain's exports of domestically produced goods amounted to BD299 million ($792.42 million), representing a 15 per cent decrease compared to the BD350 million shipped in November of the previous year. Unwrought aluminium alloy was the top exported product in November 2023, with a value of BD68 million, followed by agglomerated iron ores and concentrates alloy (BD48 million) and aluminium wire (BD19 million).

The top ten re-exporting nations accounted for 85 per cent of the total re-exported value. The UAE came in top with BD16.9 million, followed by Saudi Arabia (BD16.8 million) and Luxembourg (BD8 million).
Most valuable re-exported product from Bahrain
According to the study, the most valuable product re-exported from Bahrain was Turbo-Jets, with a value of BD15 million. This was followed by equipment for filling and sealing containers, which had a value of BD5 million, and four-wheel drive vehicles, which had a value of BD4.7 million.
In November 2023, imports rose by 3%, reaching BD454 million, compared to BD440 million for the same month in 2022. The top 10 nations accounted for 71% of the entire value of imports for imports.
Based on the data, China was the top country in imports to Bahrain, with a total of BD64 million. The United States followed with BD54 million, while Australia came in third with BD42 million. The highest-valued imported product in Bahrain was aluminium oxide, amounting to BD40 million. Parts for aviation engines ranked second with BD28 million, followed by non-agglomerated iron ores and concentrates alloyed with BD24 million.
According to the Information & eGovernment Authority's (iGA) November 2023 Foreign Trade report, the top ten nations accounted for 73% of total export value. Saudi Arabia placed top among nations in national origin exports, with BD60 million. The UAE came in second with BD57 million, while the United States came in third with BD28 million. However, according to the data, Bahrain has a negative trade balance of 218%, with a BD82 million deficit in November 2023, compared to BD26 million in the same month the previous year.
