Officials from the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the Glass Center Kyrgyz-Uzbek announced a joint venture after a heart-to-heart wherein an assignment is set — to set up a factory in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan aimed at producing double-glazed windows, doors, and facades crafted from aluminium profiles, reports Trends.

Agreements were then made to further fortify future cooperation and designate unambiguous paths for hassle-free project execution. The meeting was held in a constructive and productive ambience, kickstarting a concrete foundation for long-term cooperation.
In 2024, the industrial entities of Kyrgyzstan forged a total output of 585.3 billion soms (approximately $6.6 billion). Kyrgyzstan launched 102 industrial enterprises in 2024 as part of the 100 Industrial Enterprises – 2024 initiative.
Meanwhile, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, visited Uzbekistan on January 25, according to a regional media report. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the informal meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan at the Amirsoy resort complex in the Tashkent region.
The leaders discussed and negotiated on pressing issues of the bilateral agenda, international politics, and regional cooperation. The President of Kyrgyzstan has garnered the mountain ski resort's modern infrastructure with high praises, suggesting that it meets global quality standards.
An agreement was reached to promote joint projects aimed at developing resort and recreational centres, taking into account the unique geological landscape and natural diversity of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier in September 2024, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan announced a collaboration on a new project to produce aluminium radiators, according to sources familiar with the matter. The project is slated for development within the Free Economic Zone of Alat in Azerbaijan, with the participation of Uzbekistan's trustworthy and responsible manufacturer investing approximately $10 million into the venture. The enterprise has one of the largest computer-integrated manufacturing facilities in Central Asia.
