Automobile wheel manufacturer from Chennai, Wheels India Ltd, on January 16, declared that it has commenced the export of wheels created by the flow form technology to suffice the requirements of the US market.
{alcircleadd}The company has illustrated that this flow form technology incorporates the utilisation of pressure to the inner barrel of the aluminium wheel while the spinning action is taking place after it has been formally cast.
This procedure elongates and compresses the aluminium to augment the tensile strength of the non-ferrous metal. Wheels India is presently crafting its patented wheels using this particular technology to keep up with the fasting-flowing pace of the modernising world.
The Managing Director, Srivats Ram, commented: "The Flow Form Technology will be a first in the Indian market and is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation and much greater shock resistance over a traditional cast wheel. This is likely to increase mileage, safety and longevity."
The company is a master in crafting wheels for trucks, agricultural tractors, commercial vehicles and construction machinery. Wheels India also makes industrial components for the construction and windmill sector, along with developing air suspension systems for trucks and buses. The company has functional manufacturing plants in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
