The Window Glass Company Ltd., hailing from Bristol, supplies self-designed and manufactured windows, consisting of curtain walls and aluminium window solutions. Recently, the firm has been searching for a capable buyer to take over the organisation's operations. The enterprise now has generated sales of £3.4 million after going through the harrowing conditions of COVID-19. Moreover, the Brexit pact has not yet diluted the company's authority as it has acquired a £2 million purchase order along with securing many live contracts.
{alcircleadd}Outside the paradigm, the business was badly affected due to augmenting prices of energy and raw materials, added with the delay in the completion of primary projects. The entire condition resulted in an uneven cash flow for the company, leaving it no other option than to surrender for an administrative decision.
While illustrating the whole scenario, Mark Boughey of Mazars LLP quoted: "We are sorry to see such a long established South West family-owned business like The Window Glass Company (Bristol) Ltd fail as a result of the legacy impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, inflationary pressures on costs and project delays, that were all largely outside of their control."
"The director had to make the difficult decision to enter administration to prevent the position for creditors worsening. We are currently assessing the situation, reviewing the status of ongoing contracts and seeking a buyer for all or part of the company's business and assets. Interested parties are asked to contact Mark Boughey or Nick Clarke at Mazars," Boughey concluded.
Nick Clarke and Mark Boughey from Mazars LLP have been designated as the joint administrators of the White Glass Company, with them having the responsibility of finding a new buyer for the smooth takeover of the company's associations and assets. The new owner must also determine the time required for the completion of some key projects already being commissioned by the company.
The Window Glass Company Ltd saw its inception in 1970 and boasts of being a family-run organisation that produces, designs and circulates windows made of aluminium. The company's aluminium window system is widely used in the construction sector, aiding the beautification of public or private sector constructions. They work to build schools and hospitals under some companies, including Sainsbury's, Thatchers Ciders and Waitrose.
The company boasts of having a 55,000 square feet factory in Brislington that registers an employee strength of 31 people. In the fiscal year ending February 28, the company recorded a fixed assets collection of £ 19,134 and worth £ 1.48 million in current assets. The organisation's fixed assets at that particular time ranged up to £ 580,216.
