Apple is a brand that resonates with innovation, loyalty and creativity, so it is no wonder customers relate to it intimately. From originality to sustainability, the American multinational tech company always stays ahead. Not only the customers but the employees are also rewarded for their loyalty.
{alcircleadd}Employees associated with the company for 10 years are awarded a square piece of aluminium, a cleaning cloth, and a message from CEO Tim Cook. The company is seen breaking norms by honouring the loyalty of its long-term employees in the middle of a pandemic-induced economic slowdown that has seen tech businesses reduce employment.
The square piece of aluminium block is manufactured from the same 6000 class aluminium used to produce Apple products, says the firm's message included in the packaging.
"Congratulations on reaching this milestone moment. The work you've done, the challenges you've met and the breakthroughs you've made possible — they all add up to a profound and lasting contribution to Apple's mission to change the world for the better. On behalf of everyone at Apple, thank you for all you bring to our journey together," the note shared by CEO Tim Cook reads.
Apple has engraved the number "10", signifying the employee's 10-year milestone, along with the employee's name and the day they hit the milestone, to recognise the employee's success. Apple has previously given service awards made of crystal to employees. The new prize is heavier and shiny, though. The Apple logo is a large stainless steel emblem on a square piece of aluminium.
