The X-Cape 1200's design showcases signature Italian patterns but goes beyond aesthetics. The fairing deflects hot air from the rider, while the 23-litre tank enables long-distance ventures. The tubular trellis frame, along with a 630mm aluminium swingarm, ensures traction and stability on any terrain.

The swingarm is an essential component of a motorbike's rear suspension mechanism. It connects the rear wheel to the chassis of the bike, allowing vertical movement and helping to get the impact from bumps and vibrations. It works by pivoting on a point near the motorcycle's engine, allowing the rear wheel to move up and down. Aluminium is used to make motorcycle swingarms because it's lightweight and powerful, which helps the swingarm be effective.

The X-Cape 1200's 1187 cc Corsa Corta Evo V2 engine puts out 125 bhp and sits in an aluminium and steel trellis frame. The motorcycle's exquisite properties include cruise control and a seven-inch TFT with integrated navigation. It weighs around 250kg and offers 170mm of travel at the front and 160mm of travel at the rear.

Though the brand, Moto Morini, came to notice last year (2023) in EICMA with its X-Cape 650 model, the brand, in reality, dates back to 1937, with its first model being a 125cc two-stroke single, which first hit the streets of Italy back in 1946.

The upcoming model is anticipated to be priced (ex-showroom) at a range of INR 7,20,000 (approx € 8200) to INR 12,0000 (approx. € 13600).
