The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China recently released the "2024 Green Manufacturing List Publicity," featuring three categories: green factories, green industrial parks, and green supply chain management enterprises. Yongjie Aluminum, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yongjie New Materials, has been recognised as a national "green factory" for 2024.
The company has actively developed green factories by establishing a comprehensive organisational and management framework, continuously seeking areas for improvement, and maximising the use of green energy to reduce carbon emissions.
It has completed carbon footprint verification and certification for multiple products, consistently elevating its sustainability efforts. Significant progress has been made in infrastructure, management systems, product eco-design, and environmental impact reduction.
The national "Green Factory" selection campaign, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, follows stringent criteria. Factories must meet high standards in areas such as efficient land use, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy adoption.
This recognition serves as an authoritative endorsement for enterprises committed to green development, supporting the enhancement of China's green manufacturing system, fully implementing sustainable practices, and achieving carbon peaking and neutrality goals in the industrial sector.
