In a recent survey, Zhejiang Jinfei Kaida Wheel Co., Ltd stated that local market demand has increased with major Chinese automotive brands like Chang'an, Great Wall, and BYD establishing production bases in Thailand.
{alcircleadd}As a result, the China-based manufacturer and distributor of automotive components specialising in aluminium alloy wheels for cars, motorcycles, and electric vehicles announced the plans to ramp up investment in its Thai facility and enhance the factory's delivery capabilities.
The project, with a total investment of RMB 557.18 million, is progressing smoothly and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. The production target of 2 million new energy vehicle wheels per year is advancing steadily and on track. Utilising an advanced "future factory" model, it incorporates state-of-the-art international processing equipment and a highly digitalised, intelligent control management system.
With an annual production capacity of 2 million new energy vehicle wheels, the project is situated in CPGC Industrial Park, Rayong, Thailand. The facility will specialise in producing various high-end aluminium alloy wheels, meeting the demand for premium wheels from automotive manufacturers across Southeast Asia and nearby markets.
