Almin Metal Industries limited, a Zimbabwean company founded in 1969 and a leader in the business of manufacturing and marketing of aluminium profiles for architecture, irrigation and general engineering purposes, has been glorified by the Industry and Commerce ministry for raising Zimbabwe's flag in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
While speaking at the opening of Almin's new branch in Graniteside, Harare, an Industry and Commerce ministry official, Netai Loice Magade, who was representing Minister Sekai Nzenza, singled out the country's leading manufacturer of aluminium profiles for registering growth despite the prevailing economic challenges.
"It gives us great joy to note that because of Almin, Zimbabwe is one of only two countries in SADC with the extruded aluminium production capability.”
"The extrusion facility — the only one in Zimbabwe — is regarded as a world-class facility. We take great pride in your pivotal role in servicing the architectural, irrigation and general engineering sector, wherein you offer a very wide range of products of international quality standards," said Magade.
