On Friday, December 31, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 90 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,670 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The prices in Wuxi, Hangzhou and Tianjin have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,665 per tonne, RMB 18,680 per tonne and RMB 18,650 per tonne. As per the data, the prices in Gongyi, Foshan and Chongqing have expanded by RMB 90 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,550 per tonne, RMB 18,800 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne. In Shenyang and Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have also experienced the same price growth to peg at RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne.
On the other hand, the high-purity alumina price has decreased by RMB 2 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,934 per tonne. Alumina prices have remained unchanged in most places, except Guangxi, where the price has slumped by RMB 10 per tonne to score at RMB 2,820 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has ascended by RMB 98 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,390 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have shot up by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,600 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A360), a growth of RMB 50 per tonne was recorded to halt at RMB 19,800 per tonne, with the average prices expected to orbit between RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 19,950 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to come in at RMB 20.5 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 20.4 per kg to RMB 20.6 per kg.
