A00 aluminium ingot price in China ascends to RMB18,710/t; Average alumina spot price slips by RMB10/t

On Friday, September 23, the A00 aluminium ingot price went up by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,710 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 18,690 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the prices in Foshan, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Shenyang and Linyi have grown by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,730 per tonne, RMB 18,700 per tonne, RMB 18,720 per tonne, RMB 18,660 per tonne and RMB 18,710 per tonne. In Gongyi and Chongqing, the prices ascended by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,620 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price has grown in all the central provinces, except Tianjin, where it witnessed a dip of RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,660 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China climbed up by RMB 50 per tonne to record at RMB 19,333 per tonne.

The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price in China has slipped by RMB 10 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,893 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Shandong dipped by RMB 20 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,885 per tonne. The price in Henan, Shanxi and Guangxi went down by RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,955 per tonne, RMB 2,840 per tonne and RMB 2,870 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 20,100 per tonne. The average price for the same is likely to orbit between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. However, the aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 20.7 per kg, with the average price ranging between RMB 20.6 per kg and RMB 20.8 per kg.
